Soothing Beiges from Ferm Living SS20 Collection

 

How are you doing in these troubled days? I always seek calmness when things around me get a bit too rough. This mechanism has previously saved me a lot of stress, as I tend to have better judgment when I am calmer and more focused. This is why I thought I have to share this amazing new SS20 collection by Ferm Living. When I saw these images, I instantly felt calm, more relaxed, and in a better mood.

I love the hazy beige nuances of all kinds, soft carpets, organic textiles, natural materials – rough and soothing at the same time. Beige has become the new grey when it comes to Scandinavian interiors and there is a good reason for it. It is neutral, versatile, works well with most other colors, and it all makes it a perfect backdrop for our interiors. It also has a warmer feeling than grey, which often gets described as cold and much less cozy.

Personally, I do like both grey and beige, but I do gravitate a lot more towards the beige right now. All of you who are not sure can choose the greige transition – a subtle mix of grey and beige in one.

Nie wiem czy macie podobnie, ale ja w chwilach, kiedy narażona jestem na więcej stresu i niepewności, instynktownie się wyciszam. Ten mechanizm zawsze chroni mnie przed nadmiernym stresem. Wyciszona i spokojna duzo łatwiej łapię “szerszą perspektywę”, a skupienie pozwala mi działać zadaniowo. Kiedy zobaczyłam zdjęcia najnowszej, wiosenno-letniej kolekcji Ferm Living, natychmiast pomyślałam, aby ją Wam pokazać. Ta wyjątkowa kampania sprawiła, że od razu poczułam się lepiej.

Bardzo podobają mi się te delikatne, beżowe niuanse, miękkie dywany, organiczne tkaniny, naturalne materiały – szorstkie i kojące jednocześnie. W ostatnim czasie w całej Skandynawii beż zastąpił szary i jest ku temu dobry powód. Beż jest neutralny, uniwersalny, dobrze komponuje się z większością innych kolorów, a to sprawia, że ​​stanowi idealne tło dla naszych wnętrz. Dodatkowo, w odbiorze jest dużo bardziej przytulny od szarości, którą wielu ludzi odbiera jako “zimną”.

Osobiście lubię zarówno szary, jak i beżowy, ale od pewnego czasu bardziej ciągnie mnie do beżu. Ten kto nie jest pewny swoich preferencji, może zawsze wybrać greige – subtelną mieszankę szarości i beżu w jednym.
