bright saturday morning

 

Good morning on a bright Saturday. It is incredible how much better it feels to get up when it’s bright and sunny! As I am writing these words, the sunrays fall on my keyboard and I almost can’t believe the difference that it makes in my mood. I am smiling from ear to ear ever since I woke up.

As the weekend is here, there are no urgent matters and we can all focus on the nice stuff. I decided to finally read the magazines I brought from Denmark recently. These include my favorite interior titles, as well as food and recipe magazines. With that early spring sun, I feel the urge of making something new for the entire family. A nice dinner, or a new kind of cake. Or both? I don’t know yet, but I will find out. Helena is sick (again) and so I hope that a nice meal will lift her mood ane help her recover quicker.

Jasny sobotni poranek

 

Dzień dobry w jasny sobotni poranek! To niewiarygodne, o ile milej się wstaje, kiedy za oknem jasno i świeci słońce! Kiedy piszę te słowa, promienie słoneczne padają na klawiaturę, a ja nie mogę wprost uwierzyć, jak bardzo mi to poprawia nastrój. Uśmiech od ucha do ucha nie schodzi mi z twarzy!

Jako, że mamy weekend, nie ma pilnych planów i możemy się skupić na tym co przyjemne. Zdecydowałam wreszcie nadrobić zaległości prasowe i przeczytać magazyny przywiezione ostatnio z Danii. Wnętrzarskie i kulinarne, będą świetną inspiracją na wolne dni. To wczesnowiosenne słońce sprawia, że mam ochotę ugotować (a może i upiec) coś nowego. Zaraz się zorientuję. Helenka jest (znów) chora, więc mam nadzieję poprawić jej nastrój czymś smacznym.
