My 3 days of design finds

 

My recent trip to Copenhagen resulted in plenty of inspiration and – as usual – brought some new items on my neverending wishlist. Today I am sharing my 7 picks form this year’s 3 Days of Design. Let me know what you think (and feel free to share your recent finds, if you like).

 

Co mi wpadło w oko podczas 3 Days of Design w Kopenhadze

 

Moja ostatnia podróż do Kopenhagi zaowocowała masą inspiracji i nowych pomysłów. Jak zwykle, wydłużyła też listę życzeń (do czego już przywykłam – co czegoś ubędzie – coś innego przybywa!). Dziś dzielę się z Wam siedmioma rzeczami, które szczególnie wpadły mi w oko. Dajcie znać, co o nich sądzicie. 1. 1. Caleo lamp from LE KLINT, designed by Rikke Frost (pictured). Now, this lamp… I know I am not objective, as I am a huge LE KLINT fan and literally each model that appears in their portfolio makes my heart beat faster, but this lamp is a special one. Designed particularly for the “Denmark’s New Classic” TV show on Danish National tv, it won the competition and trust me – it was so well deserved. I would love to see it over our dining table one day.

I wiem, nie jestem obiektywna, gdyż każdy nowy model lampy w portfolio LE KLINT mnie zachwyca, jednak ta lampa jest szczególna. Została zaprojektowana w ramach duńskiego show w telewizji publicznej, który miał wyłonić “Nowe klasyki duńskiego designu”. Projekt lampy autorstwa Rikke rozgromił konkurencję i wierzcie mi – nie bez powodu. Bardzo bym chciała móc kiedyś powiesić tę lampę nad naszym stołem.

   2. Setomono Stoneware series from Kristina Dam. I often show Kristina’s projects as I absolutely adore her style. This new stoneware series, strongly refering to Japanese culture made me sigh and smile at the same time. I love all about it – the colour, the surface, the shape, the size, the concept, the… everything :)

      Seria ceramiki Setomono marki Kristina Dam. Regularnie pokazuję projekty Kristiny, gdyż bardzo podoba mi się Jej wrażliwość i styl. Nowa seria naczyń stołowych, silnie inspirowana kulturą Japonii, z miejsca mnie zauroczyła. Wszystko mi się w niej podoba – kolor, struktura powierzchni, rodzaje naczyń, absolutnie wszystko.

   3. Flower Pot lamp from &tradition in Light Blue. Many of you know this design by Verner Panton from 1968, however, the Light Blue is the new color for all Flower Pot variants (ceiling and table lamps). To be honest, I am NOT a blue person. Still, I truly love this lamp in this particular color. I can see it with dark shades, with warm shades, in minimalistic and eclectic interiors.

Podczas 3DD marka &tradition zaprezentowała nowy kolor – właśnie Light Blue. I tak jak ogólnie rzecz biorąc nie jestem fanką niebieskiego, ten odcień bardzo mi przypadł do gustu.

   4. 1917 Eau de Parfum by Frama. A mix of Bergamot and Cedar wood with the heart of Rose and Lilac on the bottom of Patchouli, Seaweed and Oak moss. All that in Frama Bottle. Do I really need to say more?

      Woda perfumowana 1917 od Frama. Mieszanka bergamotki i cedru o różano-liliowym sercu, na bazie paczuli, wodorostów i leśnego mchu, zamknięta w buteleczce Frama. Potrzebujecie więcej?

   5. I know I have shown it before, but you have to forgive me as I am totally obsessed. The Balloon Vase 03 from Louise Roe. I see it everywhere. It is so darn pretty! It comes in several colors and to be honest, I’d have dificulties between picking one from Clear and Smoke. It is amazingly pretty and quite big (40 cm in height). If the size is too much for you, the smaller, Balloon 02 and Balloon 01 versions are equally pretty, but less “demanding” in terms of space.

      Wiem, że się powtarzam, ale musicie mi wybaczyć. Mam obsesję na punkcie tego wazonu. Widzę go dosłownie wszędzie. Balloon Vase 03 marki Louise Roe – przepiękny! Występuje w kilku kolorach, a ja osobiście miałabym kłopot czy wybrać bezbarwny, czy może Smoke. Ta wersja jest duża (40 cm wysokości), dlatego nie do każdego wnętrza będzie pasowała. Jeśli taki wazon jest dla Was za duży, polecam Balloon 02 lub Balloon 01.

   6. Something for outdoor living (or green life within your home). New piece in iconic Kubus collection from by Lassen, the Flowerpot 23 designed by Søren Lassen, makes a beautiful addition to a terrace, patio, stairway, entrance or, yeah – just about any space. Just like the Baloon Vase, it does come in more sizes, 23 cm being the largest. I like how the Kubus line is expanding and as a big fan of the entire brand and concept (the Copenhagen showroom is so amazing!), I look forward to seeing more products in the future.

      Coś dla wielbicieli tarasów i ukwieconych balkonów (albo po prostu zieleni w domu). Nowość w Kolekcji Kubus duńskiej marki by Lassen – donica Flowerpot 23 zaprojektowana przez Sørena Lassena. Piękny dodatek na taras, patio, do holu, na schody czy gdziekolwiek zapragniecie wstawić nieco zieleni. Podobnie jak wazony Balloon, donice te występują w kilku rozmiarach, a rozmiar 23 jest w tej chwili największy. Jako fanka marki i jej produktów, z radością witam wszelkie nowości.

   7. Last but not least – Circle Dining Chair by Overgaard and Dyrman. I did write about this talented duo before, I absolutely love their brand and it seems as if every idea they get, turns into a masterpiece. Well, it doesn’t just “turn” on it’s own, as the entire process of creating the Circle Chair took over two years, but gosh – it definately was time well spent. Jasper and Christian make absolutely outstanding furniture, combining their great skills and understanding of materials such as meal and leather. The Circle Collection (as the Dining Chair is only the first piece of a larger gropup of products) introduces wood into O&D world and I cannot praise it enough.

      Na koniec niezwykłe krzesło Circle Dining Chair marki Overgaard and Dyrman. O tym utalentowanym duecie pisałam już przy okazji kolekcji Wire, którą poznałam podczas 3 Days of Design w 2017 roku. Wygląda na to, że każdy pomysł Jaspera i Christiana zamienia się w dzieło sztuki. Zamiana ta wymaga oczywiście wiele pracy – od pomysłu do stworzenia tego krzesła minęły ponad dwa lata, ale widać, że jego Twórcy w tym czasie nie próżnowali. Ich znajomość metalu i skór widoczna była od pierwszego projektu, a wraz z kolekcją Circle (krzesło jest jej początkiem), duet O&D do swoich produktów wprowadza również elementy drewniane. Nie do opowiedzenia, to trzeba zobaczyć.
